I purchased this book because I am leaving the corporate healthcare limited choice system. Yes, I have knowledge of what the terms HMO, PPO, EPO and HRA. However, I needed more information. Your Healthcare Playbook provides information from a doctor’s point of view. It offers insight on how the insurance system plays together with doctors, hospitals and ME. I love how Dr. Deruelle relates the subjects to examples of actual patient’s stories. It brings the human factor into it and makes for an enjoyable read. The book has a football team flare to it. But the flare doesn’t over powder the book. It is a high-level concept that I didn’t really mind. Dr. Deruelle gives a non-political, non- biases point of view to all the subjects. The book reads like a mystery novel and I could not put it down.Product details

This book was excellent. It was well-written and very easy to understand. It does a wonderful job of leaving behind political rhetoric in favor of intelligent, well-reasoned analysis, providing solutions to the healthcare debacle in this country.

This book is amazing! Everything you need to know to manage health care in this complex broken system we call health care in the United States. Doctor Deruelle has keen insight into the problems of healthcare and, more importantly, the solutions! He brings wit and charm to a serious issue to make it easy to understand and enjoyable to read. This is a must read for EVERYONE who has ever seen a doctor or will see a doctor in the future!
